Members of BOPSCA form a supportive, inclusive and great fun community of climbers and climbing families, connected by the adventure of the sport.

Our purpose is to provide facilities, equipment, and funding to enable athletes to participate and succeed in regional, national, and international competitive sport climbing competitions. As a member you get access to National and International Competitions via our affiliation with Climbing NZ.

As a club we want to raise the profile of sport climbing and grow participation. We regularly organise outdoor trips and exciting adventures centred around (but not exclusively) climbing activities. We also organise trips to regional and national competitions around NZ. The club is a great way to meet other climbers.

We operate New Zealand's only Olympic speed-climbing wall.

Memberships are valid for a year, beginning 1st July. New members who join before July will receive membership through until the following year, renewing in July.
